Custom made, mixed media Shadow box.. Used Tim holtz configuration box, Prima flowers, Graphic 45 papers + tags and a 11x14 canvas board.. It was ordered by one of my friend.. Made a tag so that he could leave a note for his friend..

The last tag I made today.. Gave a Indian look by adding some jewellery to the lady.. :)

Used Graphic 45 papers.. I somehow like using G45 papers.. They look so trendy to me.. Made space for journalling on these tags, I really think a note gives a more personal touch to the tag.. This Holiday tag challenge got me started with Tags and now I seem to be loving the idea of making tags.. Its so much of fun as each one is different and interesting..

Tags with photo mat :)

Made some holiday tags which can hold photo mats.. Used Graphic 45 papers and my wonderful adhesive Scotch ATG.. This is for all wonderful women.. :) There is place for photoz behind the journaling area.. Didn't want to ignore the men, so the second one goes for the men..

Made this tag using the Graphic 45 papers.. Used papers from Le' Romantique, A Proper Gentleman and Christmas Emporium collection.. Used Tim holtz products for embossing, die cutting and inking.. Left the back for some notes.. :) Used clear stamps from fiskars and Autumn Leaves (hope I'm not wrong about this one!).. Maybe I'll submit this also for the G45 Holiday Tag challenge! :)

Made few tags for the Graphic 45 - Holiday Card Challenge.. For both the tags, used the Graphic 45 - Christmas Emporium collection, embossed it with Tim Holtz embossing folders..

7 gypsies - "Off the wall"

7 gypsies, "Off the wall" paperline reminds me of my treks back in India.. The shoes make me think of my tired hunters, the kid with the balloon reminds me of watching innocent kids in the villages we walked by, the birds remind me of the photo shoots we used to wait and take [we always use to wonder why they sit on the electric wire and not on the bushes close to us!], the hands remind me of the silhouettes we enjoyed photographing.. On the whole, "Off the wall", gives a nostalgic feeling to me..

I really love the cover of this 8x8 book which has smaller sample pic of all its pages.. I wanted to do something out of it.. So, I just cut them and stuck them back to back.. Tore the tissue tape to a smaller size and used it as border.. Inked up the borders and on the blank side, I put some of the lines which is all about me..  Used a Tim holtz swivel clasps to put these 6 pieces together and added few charms to the other end..

Made this for the The Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps BLOG - November Sketch Challenge!..  Got this tag done from manila tag with some Prima flowers and the butterflies are from Steampunk papers of Graphic 45.. Lace trim and fabric from my scrap box!

Sweet Stamps Challenge 42 - Tags

Made this tag for Sweet Stamps Challenge 42.. I just kept it simple, embossed the tag and inked it with some distress ink, chose green and red for giving a Christmas feel to the tag.. Added a reindeer charm to depict Christmas.. :) Oooh - la - la! Merry Christmas, everybody.. :)

Graphic 45 - Steampunk debutance

I'm new to Paper crafting or scrapbooking.. Itz not more than two months since I started doing all this.. So many things changed in my normal routine :) .. I spend most of my weekend time at Michaels rather than grocery shopping!, I spent more time on internet seeing whatz new in crafting product rather than cooking recipe!! I starting buying random papers seen at shops or at ebay.. In this journey I picked up paper collection of Graphic 45, 7 Gypsies, Tim Holtz, Bo Bunny, Authentique Paper, Recollections etc etc, the best I ever saw/conquered  was Graphic 45.. To narrow down, itz Steampunk debutance.. I'm in love with this paper.. Itz soooo attractive.. The colors, pictures, tools.. Every time I look at these papers, I just like it more.. I can see the women inside me on these papers, maybe thatz what makes me love them more than any other paperline.. :) I made this pen holder out of a chickpea can! Other than the can, glue, lace trim and one ink pad [to rub the edges], EVERYTHING in this project is using Steampunk debutance paper.. Maybe its very simple, but this project made me feel so good and I want to dedicate this to all the people who gave life to this beautiful paper line..
